The Eagles are soaring in our skies and they are magnificent to see. I was fortunate enough this week to see 3 bald eagles flying above me while on a bike ride along the river. Spirit said it was a good time to remind myself and all those reading this to look at things from an eagle’s perspective. Get a clearer perspective by going higher Up for an eagle-eye view.
The United States uses eagle symbols in just about every branch of government and military service. Eagles are seen holding olive branches, arrows or rolled up parchment to relate peace, war or diplomacy. We could use a BIG BUNCH of peace and diplomacy right now.
Long before our country’s inception, America’s national bird, the bald eagle, has symbolized the highest of high such as; Creator, God, the Sun, Great Spirit, divine wisdom, noble strength and sharp-sightedness just for starters.
The indigenous peoples who were already living on this continent for millennia believed that Eagle medicine was the power of Great Spirit and represented the divine connection we all can have with our Creator. Eagle medicine speaks of the ability to live in the realm of Spirit while remaining balanced and connected to the realm of Earth.
It was taught that the eagles were direct messengers from Spirit because eagles flew higher and closer to the sun than any other creature and therefore flew with Great Spirit. The honor of wearing an eagle feather in a headdress or hair, or to use an eagle feather in healing was only given to the chiefs and shamans of the tribes. An eagle feather is considered one of the highest of healing tools. Eagles and their feathers are among the highest of Sacred Totems.
In ancient Aztec tradition, the chief god told people to settle at a place where they find an eagle perched on a cactus eating a snake. This place is now Mexico City. Zeus changed into the form of the sacred eagle to help himself control thunder and lightning. The eagle was a strong emblem in the Roman Empire. The Hittites drew upon a double-headed eagle so that they would never be surprised. The Pueblo Indians associated the eagle with the energies of the sun – physical and spiritual – as well as symbols of greater sight and perception.
The ancient Celtic traditions taught that eagle and salmon were the oldest creatures on earth. Meditate with the great Eagle and you could learn the ancient knowledge and mysteries. The druidic teachings describe eagle’s many messages of renewal, strength and keen insight. The term ‘eagle’ eye stems in part from these traditions. As the eagle circles high in the air, she can see the ‘big picture’ landscape as well as the minute detail of the land below. An eagle will notice the baby possum crossing the field while watching the farmer sow his crop, as a?flock of geese fly past him.
The Eagle is found in many Christian churches, carved into their wood work and lecterns. It is often in honor of St. John, whose symbol is the eagle, widely recognized as a symbol of power and leadership. It represents strength in China and has become part of the lexicon and national symbol for both the ancient Roman empire and the United States of America.
I believe it is Godsign that such different cultures, all over the planet and across thousands of years have adopted the same symbol. Eagles see the bigger pictures of life being able to fly high above for much larger perspectives.
When an eagle appears, Creator may be using it as Godsign to honor you for being courageous and to suggest you stretch your limits. Perhaps you are not to accept the status quo, but rather are to reach higher and become more than you believe you are capable of. Perhaps the eagle is suggesting you look at your present circumstances from a new, higher perspective. Be patient with the present; know that the future holds possibilities that you may not yet be able to see. You are about to take flight in your life. Are you ready?
Most Americans would do well right now to get their minds and spirits up into higher realms with compassionate beliefs and patient acceptance while remembering this country has been through soooo many hard times and still we are the UNITED STATES. One person, one group, one religious affiliation or political party is NOT more important than the integrity and faithfulness of ‘holding these truths to be self-evident, that all men (and women) are created equal . . . with our UNION held together by those truths.
I could argue that it is only with the Grace of God and Great Spirit that the BIG picture of America UNITED can be accomplished. Our Divine Creator will use pictures of eagles on TV, drawings and decals on trucks and t-shirts or license plates all around, to help remind you to SEE bigger pictures and beliefs that you “think” are possible and Creator knows is possible from his Eagle’s nest view.
Many of you reading this remember the moments when man landed on the moon. America was blessed and honored to have an American be the first to step down . . . ‘the Eagle has landed’. Imagine the ‘big picture’ concepts faced in 1969 by flying to the moon while making sure all of the billions of tiny details got done and were working correctly? And yet now, with all that intelligence and genius thinking, American’s are having a hard time embracing the Big Picture of our Spirits, our country, all of us dealing with Covid and the fact that we are all in this together.
On Wednesday alone 1,880 people died of Covid. That is more than 1 person per minute. There are a total of 1440 minutes in one of your days. It took 6 years, awful gut-wrenching years, for Americans and President Lincoln to hold our United States together. There were over 600,000 deaths in those 6 years. We are on track to lose half that, 300,000 irreplaceable, unforgettable people in less than 1 year. Eagles lead, they don’t whine, they don’t mope and act embarrassingly childish . . . they will help LIFT this country UP with strength, nobility, courage, intelligence and honor.
Eagles may fly into your life to help you to see the importance of your big picture – as well as helping you with all the details that create the life in front of you. Eagles swoop into your days when Source wants you to know your prayers are heard and you are being asked to fly with the Divine.
Our Creator will use eagles flying over your head as well as their icons, symbols, images and even pictures on license plates to remind you of Who is flying next to you – and the United States of America – at all times, throughout all our lifetimes, helping US soar Up into all that is possible in our lives and in OUR country!
On Eagles Wings

These groups are designed to help us interconnect and keep our sanity, bring healing to ourselves and others and be able to see each other face-to-face even if we can’t be physically face-to-face.

During these Spirit Groups, you will get over 1 1/2 hours of fun and Spirit-filled connections, metaphysical discussions with others, and all of it in the comfort of your own comfy chair, couch, table or bed using your phone, laptop, IPad or PC. Stay home, stay connected, stay safe!

You stay home as I help lead discussions and give Spirit and Godsign messages in our meetings. You can see and speak to everyone or not say a word. You attend using your phone, laptop or whatever electronic means you would like.

When the weather is nice and there is no chance of rain, I am having the Spirit Salon groups through Inner Path. We all sit spaced out and you must wear a mask to get in.

GET RID OF GUNS. If anyone is needing help getting rid of a gun, please let me know. I am happy to help get it or you or both to the nearest police station. They will take any guns and destroy them. I have a number of police officer friends that can also assist us.
