Happy Friday
With Spirit’s guidance, we have written Godsign messages before about some of Life’s heroes. Two people recently written about with Godsign messages are a ying/yang of greatness in America. One a black woman, the other a white man. Both spent their lives laboring hard to bring a better life to all of us with more love, respect, inspired words spoken and sung, bringing a deeply admired strength into our world.
I am of course referring to Senator John McCain and the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin.
What are the odds they would both be celebrated and laid to rest on the same weekend? . . . Godsign.
At about the same time two heroes of our age are having their praises sung throughout the world, lions were showing Up around me. Pictures, stories and words about lions and lionesses were all around. It was even in the stars. The month of August, in astrology, is associated with Leo the Lion. Imagine that . . .
Senator John McCain was known as a ‘lion of the Senate’. He indeed Walked the Talk of honor to all, duty to country, love to family, respect and dedication to something bigger than himself. He is not just an American hero but a hero around the world.
The Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, as a mother, was known as a lioness protecting her cubs as she raised her children and sang for the masses. The lioness totem represents powerful maternal instincts and are ferociously protective. Women with this totem can have the ability to manifest all aspects of love. They are creative and passionate. She is not just an American heroine, but a heroine around the world.
It didn’t take much for me to see that Creator thought it was a wise idea to make this week’s Godsign message about two people whose legacies are bigger than life, which is part of what it means to have ‘Lion or Lioness animal totems’, which also includes all the big cats such as jaguars, pumas, tigers and wildcats.
The lion and lioness, win the prize for most relentless fighters in the face of life challenges. They represents courage and strength in life, working to overcome its difficulties. Seen as the lord of the land, the lion is compared to the Eagle which is supreme in the air. Lion is one of the favorite symbols of leadership, warriors and royalty. Lions are not only seen as a leader on earth but also in the spiritual realms. The lion has speed, is alert and has power, and often represents all that is majestic. Just like the eagle, kings and royal houses have long included it on their coat of arms to symbolize supreme strength.
Lion was seen by Egyptians to represent the sacredness of the Sun and its power, which was one reason why the Sphinx was built. Biblically, the lion rules throughout. The Hebrews used the lion on tribe banners at the time when Moses took the Israelites out of Egypt. When the animal is carved on statues they are commonly found guarding palaces, bridges, temples, churches and tombs. The lion’s strength and courage have caused it to be associated with power as well as grandeur.
In today’s world, lion energy is often associated with fearlessness. It can represent the ability to knock off-balance the life of the enemy or prey. Because of its noble character, strength and courage, the lion and lioness totems represent the great power humans can have, such as self-control and balance in life. The lion and lioness have many valuable lessons to teach us and these lessons remain the symbols that they are associated with: self control, personal strength and courage and balance.
Lion symbolism can be use by Creator to suggest you focus on timing in life and service to others. It can show Up in life as Godsign when it’s time to increase your community responsibilities and organize cooperation among your peers. Lion totem energy also aids you in recognizing and understanding your own noble and regal strengthes and reminds you of your abilities to lead and inspire others!
People with the lion-lioness totems are fiercely independent, confident and in control, yet these traits are often balanced by an ability to have a quiet demeanor when needed. People with this spirit animal totem are also a creative and influential force. They have the internal power to make positive changes in their life and the lives of others around them. They are very loyal and will defend their friends and family’s honor to the death. Lioness and lion can represent the need to build for tomorrow and realizing that the groundwork you lay down today will manifest your destiny.
The legacy of these two folk heroes is also in the math.
On the 31st of August, last day of the eight month of August, 2018, Senator John McCain will be the 31st person in history to lay In-State in our nation’s Capital Building . . . 8s, 3s and 1s. The sacred number of Spirit (3) in one (1) person with infinite possibilities (8) to inspire a people, a world, a symbol of something bigger than himself.
At some point, we took the infinity symbol and stood it on its head and called it eight 8. Infinite possibilities in 8s. These two powerhouses of people, a magnificent African American woman and a deeply respected white man, reminded all of us regularly by their examples that the UNITED States of America is capable of infinite possibilities of greatness, unity and BIG LOVE, creating a better world for all.

John and Aretha loved this country deeply, profoundly and unreservedly. They both served and honored our country with their Gifts of optimism, determination, faith, service and Love. In their own ways, they are both ‘ageless’ and are already at folk hero status – a King and Queen of the jungle in this world. Both of them labored passionately in their lives to bring more unity, more understanding, more respect, more LOVE into America and into our world.
As more Godsign, that is what Labor Day weekend celebrates. During this Labor Day weekend and in the coming months, may we all strive to live Up to John and Aretha’s noble, honorable and loving examples of the BEST IN ALL OF THE US.

The Griffin Grief Groups are here to help you connect through Spirit with your loved one in Spirit. You will meet others who understand deep grief from their own experiences. Sharing the eternal Connection we all are capable of knowing, seeing and using in our daily life from our loved ones in Heaven allows each of us to realize how deep and everlasting their love is for us in God’s eternal Home and helps lessen grief.

GET RID OF GUNS. If anyone is needing help getting rid of a gun, please let me know. I am happy to help get it or you or both to the nearest police station. They will take any guns and destroy them. I have a number of police officer friends that can also assist us.
