During the Tuesday and Wednesday Spirit Salon groups, we have been exploring the indigenous Native American beliefs and spiritual understandings. One of the many areas we are exploring is the sacred Medicine Wheel which includes knowing more about your personal spirit animal totems.
Everyone has several, if not dozens, of ‘animal totems’ that assist you in life with their gifts, strengths, messages and healing. It has been great fun for everyone to learn more about how the animals surrounding us bring us sacred messages all the time.
Spirit first asked me to put these Godsign messages together in 2007. We have been putting these together now for over 10 years. In that time we have explored many of the animal totem meanings such as hawks, deer, frogs, bears, bees, buffaloes and blue heron to name just a tiny few.
A few weeks ago, the world prayed, hoped and believed that a team of Wild Boars in Thailand would be freed from the cave they were trapped in – and with the help of thousands and God’s Grace they were freed. It was perfect Godsign to explore the animal totem meanings of wild boar.
Many times and in many ways, over the last few days, the word, symbols, pictures and actual beavers showed Up in my life. I thought we had already done the Godsign found in beaver medicine and had to smile when I realized we had not yet. I knew what animal the next Godsign message was going to cover. And in August, if you live near water as I do, you very well may see lots of beavers at work with their paddle tails. It’s one of their favorite times in life.

Beaver totem represents becoming a master builder, being a visionary, locating the perfect spot for security, finding abundant resources and how to best work with the environment surrounding you. Creator can use symbols, pictures and actual beaver animals to bring you Godsign messages as you are building and creating your life, a project or to remind you that life often works best when you play as part of a team.
Beaver medicine can be used as a motivation to never give up. They are symbolic for having the vision to plan and then carry out the hard detailed work and figuring the engineering needed to build. They can represent people who are industrious, problem solvers, resourceful and community builders. Engineers, architects, masons and construction workers may all carry ‘beaver totem medicine’.
People with the beaver totem are generally a team player. They are at their best when they work in groups with set common goals even though they are self-sufficient. Beaver totem people know when it’s time to work and when it’s time to play. They can take great joy and pride in strong, structured, and disciplined family connections. People with this spirit animal are often motivated and willing to start new and creative projects and they are not afraid to build on their dreams.
Beaver’s medicine brings you the wisdom of creativity, maintaining the ability to be productive in all ways by not limiting your options, being persistent, using available resources, finding and using alternate ways of doing tasks. From beaver we can learn that we can create and make things a reality most effectively and powerfully when all involved appreciate every individual’s talents, and work together harmoniously.
When you watch actual beavers you find they are master engineers and transform environments. Their dams consist of wood held together with mud and leaves. Streams are changed into lakes with their dams. When they vacate an area, the dam gradually decomposes leaving a fertile meadow where the lake was. Working in harmony with each other, the beavers also know how to work in harmony with the environment and can show us how to do the same.
Creator can use beaver symbolism to remind you to act on your dreams, to make them a reality. It takes focus, goals and hard work to reach what you desire to create. Beaver symbolism insists that you have a plan and act on it and also sets the example that teamwork on all levels will make easier to build your dreams into reality.
Beavers can show Up in your life when Creator wants you to know your hard work has paid off and that you will now begin to reap the benefits of all your endeavors. In fact, your industriousness has triggered a windfall that will continually support you and your family if you plan carefully and use it wisely.
Beaver totem carries the power of group mind, a harmonious balance of communication and purpose, possible only when individual egos aren’t meddling with it. A group mind is extremely close to the spirit of Oneness, reminding us that we all come from the same source, and that each individual in the world – no matter what species – is a unique expressions of the original creative energy. This does not mean an individual doesn’t have contributions to make to a project, but working together in this way means appreciating that the coming together of minds creates a unification that for many creations is far more effective than individual efforts.
Creator uses beaver ‘medicine’ to remind us that we have to act on our dreams to bring them alive – and perhaps now it is time for action. If beaver has entered your life, it may be wise to ask yourself whether you have been neglecting your dreams? Are you lost in your dreams and not acting upon them?
Beavers are used to remind you, that whether you know it or not, you work together with Creator in building your dreams, your hopes, your life. A master builder like you, working with your beaver animal totem medicine, knows that the best dreams are constructed by reaching for and using your creative energies and knowing that you have Life’s help to design and build your life just the way you desire it.

On Fun Fridays we are exploring experiences of the Afterlife, out-of-body experiences, past lives, reincarnation and Akashic Records. We will discuss what we might do in-between lifetimes. We will explore the teachings of Edgar Cayce as well as some more recent teachers. Know more about your past lives and how they can still be effecting you today. Come discover how you are an eternal, spirit being having a physical life.

The Griffin Grief Groups are here to help you connect through Spirit with your loved one in Spirit. You will meet others who understand deep grief from their own experiences. Sharing the eternal Connection we all are capable of knowing, seeing and using in our daily life from our loved ones in Heaven allows each of us to realize how deep and everlasting their love is for us in God’s eternal Home and helps lessen grief.

GET RID OF GUNS. If anyone is needing help getting rid of a gun, please let me know. I am happy to help get it or you or both to the nearest police station. They will take any guns and destroy them. I have a number of police officer friends that can also assist us.
