Wishing you a Blessed Good Friday and Easter weekend.
There are sacred places in our world that have became more sacred over time. Regardless of your belief systems, they represent the higher qualities, abilities, sciences, arts and compassions of humanity. The Great Pyramids of Egypt, Stonehenge in England and Angkor Wat in Cambodia are these types of Global Sacred Sites. They are cherished by people all over the world and are still here because of the sacred stones used to create them.
This year, on the first day of Easter week, a sacred space that is over 850 years old, built to honor the Mother of Jesus, almost burnt to the ground. There would be no Easter without Our Lady for there would be no Jesus without her. There are Sacred Places to honor Her all over this planet, but it can be argued that none are quite as Beloved as Notre Dame de Paris.
Without her ‘symphony of stone’ she might be totally lost now. Being a ‘Rock’ to millions in the world has its blessings and Notre Dame has been through quite a lot in her 850 plus years and will now be Resurrected herself. But it is not her first ‘rebirth’.
The short excerpt below is taken from the Hunchback of Notre Dame, by Victor Hugo
“On the face of this aged queen
of our cathedrals, by the side of a wrinkle, one always finds a scar. Tempus
edax, homo edacior; which I should be glad to translate thus: time is blind,
man is stupid.If we had leisure to examine with the reader, one by
one, the diverse traces of destruction imprinted upon the old church, time’s
share would be the least, the share of men the most, especially the men of art,
since there have been individuals who assumed the title of architects during
the last two centuries.
And, in the first
place, to cite only a few leading examples, there certainly are few finer
architectural pages than this façade, where, successively and at once, the
three portals hollowed out in an arch; the broidered and dentated cordon of the
eight and twenty royal niches; the immense central rose window, flanked by its
two lateral windows, like a priest by his deacon and subdeacon; the frail and
lofty gallery of trefoil arcades, which supports a heavy platform above its
fine, slender columns; and lastly, the two black and massive towers with their
slate penthouses, harmonious parts of a magnificent whole, superposed in five
gigantic stories; – develop themselves before the eye, in a mass and without
confusion, with their innumerable details of statuary, carving, and sculpture, joined powerfully
to the tranquil grandeur of the whole; a vast symphony in stone, so to speak;
the colossal work of one man and one people, all together one and complex, like the Iliads
and the Romanceros, whose sister it is; prodigious product of the grouping
together of all the forces of an epoch, where, upon each stone, one sees the
fancy of the workman disciplined by the genius of the artist start forth in a
hundred fashions; a sort of human creation, in a word, powerful and fecund as
the divine creation of which it seems to have stolen the double character, –
variety, eternity. . .”
Notre Dame de Paris, Our Lady of Paris, was over 600 years old when John Hancock signed the Declaration of Independence, which today makes her over 3 times older than our country.
The cornerstone was first laid in 1163 in the presence of King Louis VII and Pope Alexander III. The Crown of Thorns which is said to have been worn by Jesus on Good Friday, was placed in the cathedral in 1231 by King Louis IX.
Notre-Dame suffered desecration during the French Revolution; much of its religious imagery was damaged or destroyed. In 1804, the cathedral was the site of the Coronation of Napoleon I as Emperor of France. In 1909, Joan of Arc was beatified in Notre Dame cathedral by Pope Pius X. Beatification” is the step right before sainthood.
In the early 1800’s, Notre Dame was in bad shape and in need of help. In 1831, Victor Hugo’s novel Notre-Dame de Paris (better known in English as The Hunchback of Notre-Dame) led to a major restoration project of Notre Dame starting in 1844. The novel’s great success not only cemented Hugo’s status as one of the great French writers, but also spurred the French government to return ‘Our Lady’ to her lost glory.
One hundred years later, in 1944, the liberation of Paris at the end of WWII was celebrated within Notre-Dame.

The Griffin Grief Group’s mission is to help everyone learn to strengthen, use and honor the many and varied Sacred Messages received from loved ones in Spirit. Over time, these sacred messages and communications help ease grief through the eternal bonds of God’s Love and Grace.
Whether you have lost your parent or child, spouse or friend, the loss and grief can feel like it will consume your heart. The Griffin Grief Groups are here to help you connect through Spirit with your loved one in Spirit. You will meet others who understand deep grief from their own experiences. Sharing the eternal Connection we all are capable of knowing, seeing and using in our daily life from our loved ones in Heaven allows each of us to realize how deep and everlasting their love is for us in God’s eternal Home and helps lessen grief.

Extra card decks will be provided but also please bring any divination deck you wish to know better. You DO NOT have to attend all classes.

GET RID OF GUNS. If anyone is needing help getting rid of a gun, please let me know. I am happy to help get it or you or both to the nearest police station. They will take any guns and destroy them. I have a number of police officer friends that can also assist us.
