Sacred Messages to You in Birdsong & Godsign™

The birds and their wondrous singing are in full force right now in the northern hemisphere of our planet. From the divine grandeur of the eagles, to the love brought through red cardinals, the operatic oriole, and the grace of the hummingbirds - all of God's flying creatures are busy right now and we get to enjoy the Gifts in their Messages by their presence (presents) in all our lives. They will fly into your life with sacred messages to you in any season. But in the Spring and Summer, the birds themselves make it easy for you to see the Divine Creator singing directly to you!
All species of birds are used as Godsign and each brings different messages of understanding and guidance.
The Native American cultures believed that the great eagles were One with great Spirit. Eagles fly higher than any other bird on the planet and it was believed that if eagles flew into your day that Great Spirit was flying into your day to speak to you directly. It is profound Godsign to me that the 'bird' of the United States is the eagle. Watch for eagles on t-shirts walking by you or on the license plate in front of you. Listen for the songs by the band known worldwide as The Eagles. In those moments, Creator sends you profound messages to give you direction and send you respect and always LOVE.
Owls have for millennium been thought to reflect the 'supernatural' and 'otherworld' influences in life. Owls are associated with wisdom and ancient magic. In Athens, the owl was sacred to Athena, the goddess of wisdom. From the owl on Merlin's shoulder to the 'owl mail' in Harry Potter, owls have been associated with bringing the wisdom and knowledge of magic into the hearts and minds of humans. Our divine Creator will use symbols and pictures of owls, or an owl hooting in the night, to ask you to use your own intuition, your own connected ability to bring knowledge and wisdom into your life.
Black ravens and crows are also used for similar but different reasons. Black ravens may be helping you bring healing to others and yourself. They ask you to 'fly' to a higher perspective of your life and the life surrounding you. Things can look much better, answers are often found, with a higher perspective and view of your life.
Crows are associated with shaman healing power and can circle around you in your life to remind you of the great circle of Sacred Law. There are man laws and then there are Sacred Laws of the Divine in the Universe. Both are telling you to go to higher perspectives before you make important decisions.
The hawks, the falcons, they were the king of the birds in ancient Egypt and the hieroglyph for falcon/hawk meant 'god.' Many Native American tribes believed that hawks were used to bring messages from the gods and ancestors. Many clairvoyants today carry 'hawk' medicine. The term 'hawker' can be used to describe someone that brings information to an individual or group - such as an auctioneer or an intuitive.
Hawks are often used by our Creator to bring you Messages - to shout out information to you, so when you see a hawk flying overhead or perched on a tree as you ride down the highway, you know to look out for a Message coming your way. Maybe your intuition has been trying to get you to listen to an inner message you have in your heart. God will use hawks and falcons to confirm your intuitive beliefs or to bring you good news - a divine message - to answer a question you have had or to help you in your life.
Divinity, love, royalty and beauty have been associated with the grandeur and majesty of peacocks for centuries. In Buddhism peacocks are thought to denote compassionate watchfulness because of their distinctive and magical 'eyes' identified with the peacocks tails. In the Hindu tradition the bird is associated with Sarasvati, the goddess of wisdom and the arts.
Doves have represented peace, light after darkness and new beginnings since Noah had one land on his ark with an olive branch in its mouth. White doves are symbolic the world over as a symbol of peace and purity.
Blue herons are profound to me. They are from prehistoric times and fly through our lives to remind each of us of how ancient our own souls and spirits are. . . to remind us all that we have each lived many, many times and led many lives. Herons can be used by God to remind you to look into your true feelings, your deep roots and acknowledge the beauty in you now as well as in your other lives lived.
Need I mention the 'message' that storks are said to bring? We all know that storks bring babies to mommies and daddies - don't we? But storks can also represent you giving birth to new ideas, new projects and new ways of enjoying your life.
Hummingbirds will always make you smile. You can be having a rough day and see a hummingbird and you just can't help but smile. Your guardians, angels and loved ones in Spirit send hummingbirds to bring you BIG LOVE from small things. How could you not smile?

Eagles - messages directly to you from Creator, God
Owls - messages honoring your Intuition and wisdom
Hawks - messages are coming your way
Hummingbirds - messages of Angelic love
Cardinals - BIG Love from family and friends
Blue Jays - squawking at you because you aren't listening
Robins - thanks for your song and for caring for others
Doves - message of peace and being a messenger of peace
Swans - messages honoring the Grace you bring into life
Woodpeckers - digging deeper for the good stuff
Bluebirds - happiness is on the way
Ducks - let the heavy stuff in life flow off your back
Herons - stand tall and remember your ancientness
Penguins - messages to great dads or to you from your dad
Peacocks - of beauty, art, creativity and Buddhism
Flamingos - dance with life and strut your stuff
Symbols of birds, or the actual birds, with a particular location in its name, like the Carolina Wren, Baltimore Oriole or the California Quail can be bringing you messages from people you known in those places. Carolina wrens have nests several places in our woods. They are avid singers everyday, and sound much like cardinals. Learning to tell the difference from their songs are part of the Fun.
There can often be distinctions in the messages. A Louisville Cardinal is a much different message to me than an Arizona Cardinal. And when you realize both of those cardinals throw footballs and shoot basketballs, you realize birds can show Up in many, many ways in all seasons and from many different places.
Those are just a tiny bit of messages birds can fly by you to help you know what direction to fly toward in your own life.
When a bird shows Up in your life, whether from singing for you or on t-shirts, tattoos, sports teams or a child's cuddle toy, go to Google and ask 'what is the animal spirit messages for a yellow finch?' - or whatever bird it may be around you. Notice how the information about that bird that comes back to you is a wonderful, on target message that helps you in your life. The birds don't just sing to talk to each other, to attract each other. They have a divine purpose here which is to Speak to You through song, sending you love, guidance, joy and peace from your loved ones in Spirit and your Creator.
Yes, our divine Creator has created limitless ways to Use all birds on our planet to sing you many, many songs in your life. Each and every flying creature is here to sing their songs to give you direction, not just other birds. God uses the birds and their glorious music and symbology to suggest directions of flight you should take in your life. Birds fly into your path to help you sing your song and begin to realize the heights you can reach if you will but listen to their Messages to you - like only the birds can do.
When you know this - you too can indeed start to soar into higher heights!
