Today is February 1st. Happy birthday to all those born in February and those that are blessed by being born on the first or the last day of any month. You have the energy of the entire month within you.
The word February comes from the Latin word Februarius, from Latin februare meaning to “purify” or “expiate.” In ancient Rome, Februarius was the “Month of Purification” and great festivities and celebrations were held to reestablish the empire’s focus on righteous living. Those born in February often times have the ability to walk with righteousness and purity.
Tomorrows date is 2/2 – a mastery number. Twenty-two has for thousands of years been considered a very powerful ‘Master number’ but what does that mean?
The Master number 22 is thought by many to have more power than any other master number, earning it the nickname “the Master Builder”. It is a pragmatic number, a doer, capable of spinning wild dreams into concrete reality. Those who have 22 in their Numerology chart have great potential for success — that’s because it has all the intuition of the number 11, paired with a grounded and scientific approach associated with 22. If you have 22 in your numbers you can be ambitious and disciplined, you can bring lofty goals down to earth and have great confidence and leadership skills.

Every year on 2/2, the US celebrates “Groundhogs Day”, particularly in Pennsylvania, home to Punxsutawney Phil the Groundhog. For many past decades, Phil the Groundhog awakens from his hibernation and if he sees his shadow we have 6 more weeks of winter. Groundhog messages herald the coming of Spring and the beginning of new cycles in your life. If you have a totem of groundhog, your creative power can be strongest in the Winter and this is often one of the totems of Shamans and Mystics.
The groundhog meaning also speaks about your connection to the different seasons of your life, the need to understand cycles, why there’s birth and death, and endings and beginnings. Finding the answers to these questions will help you become stronger, braver, and more confident in life.
The meaning of the groundhog tells you that it’s alright to work tirelessly behind the scenes and work on projects that may take a while to mature. Sometimes the most important tasks are the ones that are not seen, so do your best to achieve amazing results.
Many times the Godsign message in groundhog is Creator suggesting you take a moment to rest and breathe and connect. Groundhogs go into hibernation for about four to six months. Hibernation has symbolized death and rebirth for eons. Groundhogs can achieve a deep state of unconsciousness, with their body just barely functioning. During this time they are fully traveling the astral realms, gathering information, and experience as a spirit. Groundhog is the symbol of opening fully to the dreamtime. Are you exploring the significance of your dreams? Many yogis teach the technique to slow down ones metabolism, go within, and journey on the astral planes. The groundhog totem reminds us to explore altered states of awareness with strong intent.
People with a Groundhog totem need to have definite boundaries in their life and let those around them know those boundaries. Learn the lessons and use them wisely so that you don’t have to go through the same mistakes again.
Groundhogs are a type of Marmot and go by many names but the most popular are Groundhog, Woodchuck and even Whistle Pig. The groundhog is a member of the squirrel family. It is an excellent tunneler and digger. Often the groundhog will appear as a totem when you need to dig deep within yourself, or are about to open up to a new space of learning or experience.
Source Uses February and the number 22 in your life to bring you big pats on the back for your Masterful Walk and the successes in your life as well as reminding you to walk the righteous walk of purity whenever possible. Groundhogs, woodchucks, squirrels and others are Used to remind you to celebrate the new seasons of your life. If anyone is needing help getting rid of a gun, please let me know. I am happy to help get it or you or both to the nearest police station. They will take any guns and destroy them. I have a number of police officer friends that can also assist us.
