Happy Friday
America was founded on walking away from royalty. We didn’t choose to be controlled by a King or a Queen born to the title. The Revolutionary War was fought so that we could rule ourselves.
That is not to say, here in America, that we don’t have royalty. We do have a small few that are given the title of being a ‘king’ or ‘queen’ of something. Through their Gifts, talents, sacrifices, generosity, intelligence and most of all HEART – our country has been blessed with a select few who are honored and revered as America’s royalty.
Aretha, the Queen of Soul, is one at the top of that very short list.
Music changes us. It lift us, moves us, inspires us and drops us to our knees. Aretha Franklin’s Gift was not just the ability to stay in tune and carry the notes – it was her Gift to inspire us, change us, lift us and give us the ability to see the Divine in life through her voice and life.
A Queen for all people in song, faith, grace and deed.
And as Godsign would have it, Aretha, the Queen, passes on the same day as someone many call the King. The Queen of Soul passed into Spirit on the same day – August 16th – that the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis, passed in 1977.
Imagine that!
There really are not enough words to even begin to honor her and all that she accomplished in her lifetime. It is better for her to do it.
She showed us all throughout her 76 years, how a natural woman becomes a Queen for all . . Aretha Franklin will be remembered as the embodiment of the Sacred Power in one woman to Heal with her song and life lived. That’s a Queen you don’t forget.

The Spirit Salon will be exploring the spiritual majesty and creation stories of the oldest Americans – the Native Americans. We will discuss and find out about their beliefs and connections to Mother Earth, Father Sun. We will learn about their sacred walk on Earth, the medicine wheels and all the animals medicine that guided them. It will be a fun time.
Come enjoy your trip! The Spirit Salon group, led by Annie Truesdell, meets Tuesday nights from 5:30-7:00 at New Age People.

On Fun Fridays we are exploring experiences of the Afterlife, out-of-body experiences, past lives, reincarnation and Akashic Records. We will discuss what we might do in-between lifetimes. The Griffin Grief Groups are here to help you connect through Spirit with your loved one in Spirit. You will meet others who understand deep grief from their own experiences. Sharing the eternal Connection we all are capable of knowing, seeing and using in our daily life from our loved ones in Heaven allows each of us to realize how deep and everlasting their love is for us in God’s eternal Home and helps lessen grief.

GET RID OF GUNS. If anyone is needing help getting rid of a gun, please let me know. I am happy to help get it or you or both to the nearest police station. They will take any guns and destroy them. I have a number of police officer friends that can also assist us.
