Longing
The hope dreamt that waking forsakes.
Yearning’s pain from heart felt aches.
A trick perversely twisted with the treat.
The sentiment that so defines bittersweet.
To endure impatience in life spent
prevented from knowing the scent,
the feeling or sight of senses sated;
of cravings palled by a spirit elated.
Being pulled by desire’s attraction,
yet ties bind preventing reaction
to the taste of joy’s sweet lust
before time scatters one’s dust.
Ahhh…..
To sit within a wish’s company,
freely serving oneself to their honey,
euphoric in a moment’s belonging.
Rain to the thirst of parched longing.

Today would have been our son Griffin’s 28th birthday.
This one’s for you dear love. There’s not an hour much less a day . . . .
Thanks for being around sooooo much and for still helping sooooo many!

There is no bringing them back. And their families will know a deep and profound longing to see them again. That does not go away.

How long will our addiction to weapons go on?
How long will those who struggle with mental health wait before society sees how great the cost is of their illnesses being ignored because few funds go their way?
How many children will be lost before we ALL stand UP against the words, actions and ignorance of hate and those who freely speak it.
How many more before we refuse to take it anymore . . .
Please know every time these shootings happen, everyone since Columbine who has been involved in these mass shooting; Sutherland Springs, Texas, Las Vegas, Pulse in Orlando, Tree of Life, Charleston, Sandy Hook – the list is huge now – THEY ALL RELIVE IT – over and over.
And what about all the first responders who risk their own mental health because they are responsible for doing all the awful things that must be done after a volcano of gun violence erupts? Every time it happens somewhere else they go through the rough, sickening, horror-filled memories they still have.
Please take more than a moment and pray, sending big waves of healing and God’s love – to all those effected by gun violence. Over 12,000 have died this year alone . . . now multiply that by all the moms, dads, brothers, sisters, grandparents, aunts, friends, loved ones of those 12,000 . . . that is just in the last 10 months.
Not just those living the current nightmare shooting are suffering terribly, but also the hundreds of thousands from previous shootings who now suffer every time these happen.
How long before we all finally see it for the horrendous, wasted destruction it is?

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.
‘Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved.
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed.
Through many dangers, toils and snares
I have already come;
‘Tis grace has brought me safe thus far
And grace will lead me home.
The Lord has promised good to me
His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be,
As long as life endures.
Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.
When we’ve been there ten thousand years
Bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
Than when we’ve first begun.

We will discuss Tom Kenyon and the Hathors. It will be an adventurous time for the Spirit Salon.

Sharing the eternal Connection we all are capable of knowing, seeing and using in our daily life from our loved ones in Heaven allows each of us to realize how deep and everlasting their love is for us in God’s eternal Home and helps lessen grief.

GET RID OF GUNS. If anyone is needing help getting rid of a gun, please let me know. I am happy to help get it or you or both to the nearest police station. They will take any guns and destroy them. I have a number of police officer friends that can also assist us.
